Tonight a storm rolled through that shook the entire mountain. I tried to capture some pictures of the lightning, there are a few good ones, but nothing compares to viewing it live.
The aftermath...
This lightning strike on the left just might be the one that did the damage to the pine tree (Or the ball of fire above).
The top of the tree is gone, so is the 2ft ant hill that was at it's base.
The tree was split right down the center.

Hey, I was wondering about the video. I only see a flash of a picture and some talking that last for 3 seconds. The rest of the time it is blank. All the other pictures are great. Wish I could be there to view it all in person. Thanks for sharing the beautiful scenary with us.
