The Chateau de Chillon dates back to the 12th century. Through out it's history it served as a fortress, arsenal, and prison. Today was a good day with the children; we were busy with workshops, the chateau, and the pool (activities make for shorter days and less mischief). Tomorrow we are going for another killer hike, which means tired children at night!! Actually tonight went really well, the girls were in bed with little problem (I just went out to check on a door opening which sent them running back to their rooms - at least they no I mean business!). I think I'm going to try to do something special for them on Thursday night if all continues to go well.
