Today was a nice day, so I decided to risk my life and climb the tower to give you a view from the top. The pictures are overlooking Saint Albain and the Saone River. I had to scale the outer wall of the tower just to capture these pictures.
Yeah, kind of high. Good thing the vines could hold my weight!
The Saone River
On a clear day, the Alps and Mont Blanc can be viewed from here.
I'm not sure why the addition of a person into the photo makes the surroundings look more like an Olan Mills backdrop, but I'm really here.
The first cluster of roofs are those of the Chateau.
Okay, so maybe the bit about climbing the vines is a complete fabrication. Here is the actual path to the top of the tower.

Great pictures! This time we were able to watch the video. We were uable to view the one with Amy at the cows. Can't wait to see what comes next.
