We started off the day heading out to do some shopping. Well I went by my Lucky magazine Paris shopping guide, which led us to a shop that was supposed to be an "outlet." We didn't even bother to go inside because we could tell that it was just not within our budget. I abandoned the Lucky guide and went to wandering the streets for some good affordable shopping. To make the most of our visit to this area we visited the Luxemburg Palace and the surrounding gardens.
It was quite a rainy day, so Laura felt the need to do a little toe touch while "singing in the rain."
Random thing... we were walking through the Latin Quarter, when we ran into someone that I met two weeks ago that lives in Paris. She was kind enough to take us around to some shops and give us some local history. She also told us which restaurant to eat at in the Latin Quarter.
Raclette is cheese melted over potatoes and meat. Here is the big block of cheese under the heating element.

Get out! Does each table get its own block of cheese? Do I see prosciutto?
